Remembering today all the victims of the 11th September atrocities and their families and friends.
Last year on this day, I paid tribute on my journal to just one of the many that died that dreadful day. Abner Morales. My thoughts are also with his family today.
May God grant eternal rest to their souls, comfort to the bereaved and may we all strive for a better world, a world of peace and harmony.

All Reason Lost
A morning bright beyond belief, peaceful
beauty all around.
Big Ben chimes on the early morning hour,
as traffic slowly roars to life with sound.
One after another, louder sounds rock their senses.
Walking wounded appear on the scene and the
reaction of the world tenses.
Visions of terrible days in our immediate past.
Remembering the horror of events that just last.
Each time it happens it conjures memories best left unsaid.
But then, we must talk, memorialize - lest we forget the dead.
The people that did this are inglorious cowards, deserving
a worse end than what they caused to happen, with all reason lost.
To what end must we struggle, striving to win? We shall succeed
although I fear the enormous cost.
Big Ben will chime tomorrow again...life will continue.
Families will grieve and the world weeps with them,
there are many more days to go on living in this venue
We live in scarey times....love, Sandi

((((((((((((((((JEANNETTE))))))))))))))))Very nice heartwhelming entry.Thanks for sharing.Have a nice day.
Thank you for this. I tend to look at what happened on 9/11/01 as an American tragedy. But it wasn't only Americans that died that day. It is an international tragedy as well. Yours is a beautiful sentiment.
