Thank You Paul

Paul Newman had died at the age of 83.

One of the Hollywood greats, he brought pleasure to millions all over the world in a variety of roles.  Who can forget "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid?"

He was one of my favourite actors and from what I have read about him he was a very nice man as well, a true gentleman, one of the old school.  We do not see his like today.  Never a breath of scandal and married to Joanne for over fifty years.

Rest in peace Paul and thank you.

We have our own sadness today, as my BIL Ted died last night.....

I hadn't heard about this, how very sad.  He was always a favourite of mine and he managed to enjoy a happy marriage with his wife, despite hollywood's other attractions!  He will be sadly missed by Joanne, but by lots who never met him too.  Eileen x

I've just found out from your entry, Jeannette. So sad! He was such a wonderful actor and so good looking and charming even in his old age. My favourite movie with him is "The Verdict", he was so regal and so poignant in it. God bless him.
All the best

A brilliant actor and a lovely, caring man.  It's hard to believe her was 83, he seemed forever young.  Lovely tribute Jeannette.~~Pat   http://journals.aol.co.uk/pm71blackfen/ramblings-from-pat/
