Our journal friend Jules is taking part in the Race For Life to help raise funds for cancer research.
I know this means a lot to Jules and the race takes place on her late Mother's birthday which makes it more special to her.
If you would like to sponsor this wonderful cause then please friends, visit this link and give what you can. Remember, every penny counts.
Thank you.

Thank you for sending the email notice about your posting. Here is a copy of the email I sent this morning to Ally:
It is raining again here and the rivers around here are out of their banks and flooding as high as they can go. There is a spillway about 2 miles down the road that the water is powerfully pouring over the rocks as it leaves the lake. Coming back from town yesterday it was within a few feet of the bottom of the bridge ( about 10 feet higher) and flooding the fields that brought the water within about 2 feet next to the sides of the road. This is the highest I have ever seen the water in 30 years.
I also have one new post in my journal:

Hope you have a great week! mark
I always donate to macmillan nurses and the local hospice, but not to cancer research as I dont trust them,it brings in vast amount of money that it is a golden egg as long as people donate to it they will never give a cure for cancer,it would kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.julie.
