In Remembrance

The eleventh hour, the eleventh day, the eleventh month.

In remembrance of all those who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives in defence and service of their Country, whatever nationality they may have been.

In remembrance of all those still laying down their lives today.

Safe now in the arms of the Lord.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

WE WILL REMEMBER

The photos are astounding.  I love red poppies.  You guys have Remembrance Day equal to our Veterans Day?  Interesting.  Lovely, beautiful tribute.

Nice entry Jeanette! I had forgotten the poppies. I rememebr my dad always buying one off of a red, white and blue cardboard stand on counters at gas stations etc...I remember they were for Veteran's. Interesting your entry has poppies too. Are they a symbol belong to veteran's?
