Only a short entry today, I see from AOL news that it has been announced that Prince Charles is to marry Camilla Parker-Bowles in April. Very strange that this should be announced now, when H.R.H.'s finances are being investigated. AOL are running a "poll" asking how she should be addressed.
I have the feeling that this is not going to be popular with the public - what do you think? Should he marry her or leave things as they are? Are you in favour of a Queen Camilla if and when he ascends the throne?

Regarding Stuart's comment below, Aol may be "tabloid" but everyone is entitled to their opinion and opinions are what I am asking for.
I don't know if he should marry her or not. It's really hard to pass judgement unless you walk a mile in their shoes but having said that I do not like her because of all the pain the beautiful Di had over this situation. They gave Princess Di a raw deal from the get go. They all knew he was in love with Camilla so I have no respect for that family. I like her children though. Princess Di rocked she was a real Princess in everyway. I would address Camilla as Queen of causing PAIN along with King Pain giver no 1 they are liars and cheats for only their own gain to look good in the public. may they recieve what they gave. I'm not sure they didn't have Princess Di killed. What was that I said about walking a mile oh well that's what I think without walking a mile but just looking on.... I just found your journal tonight and it's so great I loved visiting. What do you think about Camilla the queen of Pain
I don't think Charles should ever reign. William would be my choice - Dianna's son. She wasn't just queen of hearts. Dianna lived in the real world.
I may have an unpopular viewpoint here, but I love Prince Charles! I think that they should marry if they wish to do so, but am not sure about Camilla being Queen. That would not go down well with the British public would it!

I dont think Camilla will ever become queen but I think they should marry.....they've been knocking about together for years now so he should make an honest woman of her!
Difficult one, personally I think they should marry if that's what they want to do. Spiritually depends on where they plan to get married. Should she be queen? don't think so. It would be a very sad reflection on our society if we have a divorced queen. What sort of message does that send out? The royal family as a whole - bring lots of tourists in and generate lots more income than they cost.

I think personally that if they want to marry, do so. But Queen, never. I think Charles is a weak man who only really cares about his own best interests. I don`t know why he doesn`t abicate and live the life of a private citizen. The point being that as King, he has to be above all of us humble commoners. He can`t have it all and do things the everyone else would. He has the most privileged of lives...... I could go on and on but everyone has their own opinion of Charles and Camilla. I am always a pro-choice person. Let them marry if they wanted to. I think they love each other and that is all that matters. "Queen is as Queen does." Let her have the tittle if Charles is King.
I was happy to hear that Charles and Camilla are to be married. They've obviously been in love a long time. He tried to play by the rules with Diana, but his heart just wasn't in it. I'm pretty sure he feels he will never be King and I truthfully don't think he cares anyway. At this stage in his life, I think he just wants to be happy. Of course, this is just the opinion of a hopeful romantic. Oh, BTW, I don't consider it AOL Tabloid. This is big news in my country also.

I wouldn't want to have to call her Queen. I think they both are snakes and deserve each other.
I don't want them to be married. On the other hand I don't like Camilla being his mistress either. I think that Prince Charles should just remain single. -Krissy

That's just awful. but I heard someone where on some new program that she can never be queen. I just heard the end of it so I'm not sure why they said that. I'm a big Princess Diana fan but I knew he would marry this one as soon as he could.

I am a big fan of The Princess Diana of Wales and I do Not agree with this marriage at all. But that's just my opinion....guess you really can't help who you love...However i do agree that should never be queen. That just wouldn't be right.
