It was wonderful to see Daniel doing so well over the weekend. He certainly is a tough little guy. Nothing seems to slow him down!
He was into everything as usual. He is by far the most fearless of the two boys. He loves to climb on things and will find ingenious ways of getting to what he wants. You have to have eyes in the back of your head. He said he liked hospital because he made things. He did, in fact, make two lovely keyrings, one for his Mummy and one for his Daddy.
Of course, all we get from Nathan now is that he wants to go into hospital as well! Oh no, Nathan we can assure you that you do not. He also keeps asking if he can have a plaster on like Daniel. Daniel does not have plaster, he has steri-strips but plaster is the nearest that Nathan can get to it.
The boys are so different in personality. Nathan is the quiet one, tending to be on the shy side. Very much like me when I was young. Dan Dan on the other hand, is very outgoing and far more adventurous.
Anway, we had a lovely afternoon with them and they made us laugh as they usually do. They both entertained us with their dancing. The things they come out with. Probably not funny to anyone else but a real hoot to us. We got out the bubble machine and they had a great time catching them. They also managed to blow a few bubbles themselves much to their delight.
Sunday was just a quiet day for us. I spent most of the time in bed as my neck and shoulder were very painful. They are both a lot better today but I am very depressed and down in myself.
I shall be arranging to see the doctor soon and discuss my medication. I also have another problem which I wish to discuss with him but that is between him and me and I shall not be writing about it on here. I just hope it is something easily sorted out. Please keep me in your prayers.
We have gale force winds today. The sun was out earlier but has now disappeared and the sky is very grey. Ithink rain might be on the way. Well, the garden needs it, as rainfall has been very low in the last few weeks.
I had a strange comment on my last entry. I wrote to the person concerned asking her to explain but no reply was forthcoming so I decided to delete the comment as it worried me and upset me. I have enough on my plate right now without things like that bringing me down.
Leo gave us the present of two mice over the weekend, one on Saturday and one yesterday. They were unharmed and Mike set them free a little way from here. Let us hope they have the sense not to come back because Leo will be waiting......
Well, that is about all I have to tell you at this time. I think this is a day for cuddling up with a book or catching up with some t.v. that I recorded. On the other hand, maybe some music to drown out the sound of the wind.
Wishing you all a good week.
Love,

Glad Daniel is doing so well.
I had a few comments that struck me wrong also.At first,I made my journal private. But it was too much a hassel adding my readers to it-so I went public again.Thought about deleting it-did that once before and regretted it.So,I ignored this 'person' and she left a few nice comments after that and disappeared into cyberspace...woo-hoo....
have a great dya

Glad to hear Daniel is much recovered from his ordeal. I'm sorry to hear you are in pain, and hope you are feeling better soon.
Hope everything goes well at the doctors for you. We too have rain and those winds, it nearly knocks you off your feet, and I am not a small woman.!!! :) That's a shame you got a horrible comment, there seems to be a lot of it going on at the moment. It's a shame when your cats bring you mice isn't it.?? I always try to save them when my cats do it, but I am not always successful.!! ;(
Take care Jeanette.
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to read that you are down in the dumps today but glad to hear that Daniel is running around as though nothing has happened! That's little ones for you! It is grey and dismal here today and now the rain has started. It was very windy overnight and first thing this morning, but fortunately that has died down now. I hate it when it is very windy as we have some large trees that always worry me. Eileenx
Sorry that you are feeling in the dumps today. I pray that you will feel better soon and the problem that you are having will be resloved soon. I know those two boys are a joy for you and Mike to have around. Leo is doing a good job keeping the mice down. I hope the rest of your day goes well. Hugs, Helen
Hi Jeannette, Do not be down please, just think of your gorgeous grandsons and remember the time you have spent with them and smile, smile, smile!!!

Glad to hear of Daniels improovement kids are so resilient. It must a be a great source of comfort and joy to you and Mike to have them so close.
Hopefully you can have a long talk with your doctor, and see what changes he can make with your medication and your sense of well being generally.
We have been wind battered too but the suns out quite bright to but still windy with rain. I shall be doing the same as you cuddling up on the sofa with a book.
Take care

Ah, the good and the bad of daily life. Daniel is energetic and recovering...and you are a bit down today.
Hope you feel better, and Daniel continues to improve.
Hugs,
Nancy
I am glad Daniel is doing better, little boys, nothing keeps them down for long. Hope everything works out well for you. Keeping you in my prayers.

I think we've all been getting some lurker comments! Glad Daniel is doing so well.

Good news on your grandson. Hope your wind doesn't damage. Wind is scary stuff sometimes. Enjoy a good day reading or watching tv.

Sorry a troll seems to have found it's way to you but you engaged them and often that's one of the best ways to get rid of them. Lots of people have big mouths until some challenges them to put their money where their mouths are. I've been lucky in that I've only had two in 2 years and one of them was SPAM. LOL
Hope you enjoy your day. Music sounds like a GRAND IDEA!
I am so happy Daniel is doing so well. That is such great news! I do hope the doc can assist you with the things you need... good luck! aaaah trolls are in full force these days.
love ya

I love that little behind each monitor sign...it is so true. We are more than just radio waves of some sort bouncing around the globe. Glad that the little one is doing so well and as a grandparent I can understand the joy that you receive from the children...be well my friend...love, Sandi
Pleased Daniel has come through his hospital ordeal so well, Jeannette.
So happy to hear that Daniel is on the mend and his usual active self. Yes, Nathan certainly doesn't want to have to go to the hospital..oh the innocence of children. Hope your neck & shoulder are feeling better and that your doctor appointment goes well. In my prayers, always...Linda in Washington state
It is so wonderful Daniel is doing so well! Bubbles always seem to be a favorite of my grandbabes too. Every one of them delights in chasing them around. I'll be praying for you, that your health only improves this year . 'On Ya' - ma
I am glad that you deleted them... that is what I do... don't give it another thought... live is too short for haters! {{{ hugs and love }}} Hope you feel better soon... and if I am guessing right about your problem... there is a cream for it... look it up online...

Everyone seems to have expressed my feelings on all subjects in this particular entry: except mice.
Garrison Keillor, of Prairie Home Companion fame, once told a story about having mice in the basement. The afflicted person did not want to harm the mice so he set up a trap that would drop the mice into a barrel. Then the person would take the mice out to the woods and set them free. He began to think that some of the mice were repeats, so he started tying red string around one leg of each mouse before freeing them. Sure enough, he got repeat(s). The next part of the story is muddled in my mind, but it involved taking the repeater(s) out to the ice fishing shack for release. Anyway, while listening, we had to stop the car until the story was over because we were laughing so hard we were afraid we would cause a multiple car crash.

Dear Jeannette,
I'm so happy that Daniel is back to his usual active self after his visit to the hospital. His visit must've been a memorable one, as his brother wants to go too. Aren't kids sweet when they copy each other?

I love your graphics...hang in there hon..things will get better.. Now your little grandson is home and you can relax and just take it easy.
Pamper yourself and be good to yourself.. I know how you feel and you deserve a break.
Glad Daniel is doing so well. Hope you start to feel better soon. And I truly hope the health problem you're worrying about can be taken care of. Will, of course be praying for you, hon. I hate hearing that somebody left a comment that disturbed you. Why people do things like that is beyond my understanding. It is hateful! Glad you deleted it. Hope you blocked the person as well. Hugs, hon, and love too.

Aww Jeannette. I want to give you a big hug. I think especially at this time of the year that the weather plays havoc with us and we don't release enough seratonin. We all need to get some sunshine. You have had a worrying time lately with the wee one and you always seem to be the "mummy" to everybody's problems. You have to remember "you"!. You get some serious pampering done with some wonderful music on and when you are lying back in a cosy bath, get that big smile on your face, knowing that you, make a huge difference to an awful lot of people's lives. I may be new to J-Land but I'm quite observant. ;-) Love and Hugs. Pam xx
Hi Jeannette,
You always pick the coolest graphics to display in your journal. This one is magical looking. I love it.
So glad to hear Daniel is back to his old self. That's funny that now Nathan wants to go to hospital! LOL that made me laugh. Those babies are so cute! I remember when my son was small like they are, he always made me laugh. I was dealing with my sick Mother, and my son would always make me laugh at something. To see the world through the eyes of children is a gift, to be sure!
LOL on Leo bringing you presents! He thinks they are GREAT presents to share, indeed! LOL! He sure earns his keep, doesn't he?
I hope your Doctor visit goes well, and you get everything discussed that you need to discuss. I just love you Jeannette and I want you to be well my friend.
Keeping you in my prayers...

Hey Jeannette !!!!!!!
I so love the picture you shared with your entry its soooo beautiful. I am glad to hear that Daniel is doing well. We don't want Nathan in the hospital not at all. I stayed home on Sunday and just hung around being lazy isn't that terrible ???
I do hope that your spirits are lifted and that you get to feeling better. I hate to hear that you aren't feeling well. All of us at J-land are thinking about you and wishing you well.
It was so a wonderful Spring day in Georgia and it was beautiful. I enjoyed the wonderful weather I didn't even have to wear a jacket outside today. I so love days like this one.
By the way don't worry about what that person wrote you. Whoever made such a comment was wrong and I think that you don't need to worry about that person or the comment. You have comments like mine to read so don't worry yourself about that one. Its ridiculous to think that someone would leave you a comment that distressed you. I think that you should just forget about the terrible comment and focus on ones like this. Do take care of yourself Jeannette.
WE LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
((((((((((((((((((HUGSTOYOU)))))))))))))))Sounds like your having a ball with the kids.I am so glad daniel is doing much better.
I am so glad to hear Daniel is doing well. God is good! I hope you are able to sort out things with your doctor, and I will remember you in my prayers tonight. I am sorry someone made you feel uncomfortable and I think you made the right choice to delete the comment.
Sometimes, I receive a comment and it seems more negative and I wonder why the person bothered to comment at all. I need to follow you and just delete the comment if it bothers me. It is not often but it has gotten my notice. I just try to chuck it off as the person was just not thinking when they wrote what they did. Gentle hugs Jeannette, I think you are a very special lady in my book!
Dear Jeannette, What have I done or said to upset you? I am so sorry but I have not a clue what you are referring to, but will you please e mail me ASAP so that I can make any kind of restitution that may be mine.
My heart is saddened that I caused you any anxiousness in anyway but I am puzzled and I can not read back my (assuming it was me) comments.
PLEASE write me
Lori

Im so pleased about Daniel, kids are so resilient and dont worry about a thing which is good. LOL at Nathan wanting to go in hospital too,its such a big important thing that they want to do it too and enjoy being a patient.
Sorry you got strange comment, maybe they meant well but it came out wrong? Dont worry one bit about it.
Praying for your health and that of your family! Liked your graphic on top... Leo is quite a little mouser, funny he doesn't kill them, my Tarzan does and just left a head last time! Linda

Hope you are feeling some better by now.
love ya,
carlene
So glad Daniel is back to himself and Nathan just wanting a bit of extra attention too...
Good boy Leo, lol, but play nice with the mice....
Linda :)
I'm so glad to hear Daniel is doing better. Children bounce back so much quicker than we do.
I'm sorry about the comment thing. I guess some people don't think about how they word the comments. We don't get to see/hear the tone used. Please don't let whatever was said upset you. Like you said, you have to many other things to deal with.
Monica

Leo sounds so cute bringing you two mice...what a good boy he is...hugs and love to you and the entire family...love,
