I got this idea from Guido who got it from Linda.
The idea is to do a short review of last year by going into your archives and picking the first sentence you did on your first posting for each month.
Here are mine, not exactly gripping reading!
January
It always seems a bit of an anti-climax after the Christmas and New Year celebrations
February
Hello my friends. I thought it was about time I put in an appearance

A bright sunny day for a change. Well, once again I have had to add this entry using Firefox.
April
You can imagine I was very scared inside (I tried not to show it for the family's sake) going back this morning although I did try and take in the beautiful sunshine and the spring flowers.

I just had to come back today and do this special posting for somebody who has done a special act of kindness for me.

Wishing all in the UK a happy and safe Bonfire night.

I just had to pop on and thank you for all your good wishes, they mean so much to me.
I hope that did not over excite you all lol.

Gripping reading lol But it is fun to look back...remind me of the times in my diary that I have written in great big letters... I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS DAY....only to wonder whatever happened on that day ???!!!!!

And what a year it has been for you. The sentences dont tell all and I must admit I did go into the archives to check some. In some entries it seems like yesterday
and others a lifetime away. It was great to be included and did bring back the memory of surprising you. I bet the first entry of every month this year you will be putting a special first sentence.
Glad Nathan is doing well, Lots of Love, Pat x
I enjoyed this post Jeannette, it's whats behind the sentence that has the real meaning. I'm going to try this later.
Take care
Yasmin

Now, that's an interesting idea! I'll have to check out mine and go read Guido's. I haven't even been writing here for a year! I hope you're having a great weekend! We're warming up again. We actually got down in the 20's here in Central Florida last Thursday! Blessings, Linda
LOL!! That was good.... my first sentences were so boring, I cheated, and looked for the one that was most 'telling' of the entry.
Joann

Oh Jeannette I have just watched that video posted from your Christmas time jottings and only recently hearing this song, once more was blessed by it...
I to have a "Danny" who is 5. I am trying to find out from your jottings what surgery he had?
LOL, its funny how the different thoughts collectively as different as they are they do make sense together...!
Very good, actually.
Lori
