Tempestuous Tuesday

Photobucket

I certainly was not going to use a graphic that truly reflects the weather - awful.  No, something to brighten the day was called for.

I went to the doctor's this morning.  Getting out of the car we were nearly blown off our feet and we were also soaked by the time we walked around to the entrance.  Luckily I did not have to wait more than five minutes before I was called in to see him.

He is such a nice man, does not rush you, listens to all you have to say.  He examined me once again and has given me an ointment to use and also some oral medication - another couple of pharmaceutical products to add to my ever growing list!

My stomach bug is a lot better but my stomach is still very tender so I am hoping that the oral medication does not set it going again.

I have to see him again in nine days time.  If there is little or no improvement after this round of treatment then he says he will refer me on to a specialist.  You can imagine how I felt when he said that!  I had hoped I was done with hospitals until April.  He could see I was upset by his remark and he understands perfectly.  He himself said I have been through so much in the last nine months that he can understand why I do not want to face anything more.  I did get a bit weepy and he was concerned because he said he missed seeing my "lovely smile" but he told me not to be too hard on myself.  I have had much to face and my resistance is low and fear haunts me at times.

I did come out feeling more re-assured but I can only hope that this treatment works and that a referral will not be necessary.  Those of you that believe and pray, please pray for me that this will work, I have had enough believe me.  I know you will all keep me in your thoughts during the next few days.  I want to come home in nine days time with NO referral if that is God's will.

Anyway, enoughof my moaning.  No good worrying, that will not help in any way.

We went for a short drive after we left the doctors.  Called in at the cemetery.  Lucky we did, all the flowers had been blown off my parents' resting place and Mike was able to rescue them and put them firmly back.

When we got home we happened to open our car doors at the same time, a gale of wind blew through our vehicle blowing my prescription down the road and Mike had to sprint after it!!

It is so dark we have the lights on, not good when the utility companies have just put all their prices up.  Roll on Spring.

Daniel started back at pre-school today.  He only has a dressing on now in case another child accidentally knocks him but usually he does without them.

Two more mice added to Leo's headcount.  Rescued unharmed and returned to the wild.  I cannot help but think he keeps catching the same ones , you would think they would have the sense to move on to somewhere safer.

Not much else to write about at this time but I will leave you with something a little more lighthearted.

Mujibar was trying to get a job in India.

The Personnel Manager said "Mujibar, you have passed all the tests except for one.  Unless you pass it you cannot qualify for this job."

Mujibar said "I am ready."

The Manager said "You must make up a sentence using the words yellow, pink and green."

Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said "Mister Manager, I am ready."

The Manager told him to go ahead.

Mujibar said, "The telephone he go green-green, green-green, green-green and I pink it up and say "yellow", this is Mujibar."

Mujibar now works at the call centre.

No doubt you have spoken to him.  I know I have.

I hope that made you smile!

Wish me luck with my treatment, let us hope it does the trick.

Have a good week my dear friends and readers

Keeping my fingers crossed the medication works, working where I do I try to take as few tablets as possible. Trying to work myself up to taking the dogs out in a howling gale and pouring rain..they are by the door in anticipation! Louise x

Poor Mike having to chase your script ,that happened to  Maurice with his tax disc ,we had to go queue for a replacement ,only for me to find it in the door compartment !! and yes I have spoken to Mujibar,I will be more toterant with him next time ,now I have seen what his working conditions are like lol  lol ...love Jan xx

I will be praying as always.  May our dear Lord bless you with healing from the new meds so that no further treatment is needed.  It is cold and snowing here this morning.  The only bright side is that it is lighter out with the snow on the ground. Roads were a little slippery driving into work and I just took it slow.  Remember to take it one day at a time and not worry about the future.  'On Ya' - ma

HA, what a video Mike chasing your RX would have been!  I'm thankful God got you there without too much care and that you have such an understanding physician.  Joining you in prayer that this round of medicine will do the trick and he'll pronounce you well on your next visit.  -  Barbara

I do hope that you will recover quickly and that no further treatment is required Jeanette.

Your picture is hysterical~ having been on support with Dell for the past week I now have an image to go with the person I cannot understand. LOL.

I do hope your medication & ointment work for you so you won't require further attention.  You will be in my Prayers for a full recovery.  You painted a funny picture of Mike running after your prescription!  Kudos to Leo for his mousing ability ~ you would think the mice would be smarter by now.  Happy to hear Daniel is doing so well ~ how amazing!
My best to you,
Lisa

Good luck with the treatment Jeannette! :-D

Love the joke, I must admit, everytime I have to ring for an insurance quote or someting similar, I wait with trepidation for the voice - will I understand?? There are many scottish voices that I find as hard to understand as the Asian :-/  I confess it is a relief when I hear an English accent!

all the best

I hope you goes well Jeannette, it`s about time your life went a bit more smoothly. Like I said on the phone today, I`ll be thinking of you tomorrow. I didn`t realise Daniel went to pre-school. Roman starts back at his little school tomorrow also, they seem so young to be going to school but I suppose it`s the modern way

Hope and pray the added meds work...and the next appointment shows all is well.  Daniel is getting so big...I just can't get over how time flies...and kids grow.  Leo is something else with his little mice gifts...LOL
Hope each day is bright and cheerful...hugs and love,

The weather was the same here on Monday.  I was out in the car running in and out of stores, getting drenched and my hair blown.  The wind was so bad I had a hard time keeping it straight on the road.  Today is sunny and barely 30 degrees.  It's supposed to be like this the rest of the week. We will pray that the new medications will do the job and you will not have to see a specialist.  About Leo's pastime.  It's too bad Mike can't put a dot of color on their backs from a permanent colored marker.  That way you could keep a tally of the ones that are stupid enough to get caught over & over again.  I bet Leo is so proud of his hunting skills. That did indeed make me smile. Keeping you in my prayers on the smoke you don't get a referral in 9 days. Good going Leo. We did the same thing with an outside cat of ours Foxy, until she learned what we were doing and started biting the heads off.....I wonderered where she was putting the heads, I found out this past spring when I went to do my garden. Never fear a cat NEVER forgets. (Hugs) Indigo
