Summer Pictures

It is not often that I do two entries in one day but the rain has lashed down all day today and the coloured leaves are spiralling down faster than ever in the strong wind. Soon the trees will be bare.

No beautiful sunset tonight like this one my beloved took from our front door one evening.

Summer is a fast fading memory but thanks to cameras, some blooms, some moments in time can be captured forever.  Hope these photos I took brighten your day.

And finally, here is how our garden usually looks in the summer. Slightly different these days since we put in a pond about three times bigger but we tend to use the same type of flowers each year - we tend towards our favourites.

Wow, Jeannette!  Bravo!  What a green thumb you and your hubby have!  I think I needed to see some green things today!  That sunset was divine also.  I do love geraniums and those were awesome too!  Lovely, lovely pics!  Wish I could sit in your garden right now!  I did in my mind.

Jeannette your garden looks absolutely beautiful.  Thanks so much for sharing those photos with us, it's been lashing down with rain all day here too.  That sunset is also beautiful - will we ever see another one I wonder?  The answer I doubt it!!  :-(

I have had to take one of the photos off. I think it was causing problems because my journal was either not loading or taking ages and ages.  I shall post the picture I deleted at another time.  Thanks for all your kind comments.
