John Paul

In memory of Pope John Paul.  We are not Catholic but as Christians we share in the sorrow of all Catholics.  He was a very good man, a man of the people, a man who had great influence in the World.

His suffering is over and he has gone home to the Father he spent his life serving.  May he rest in peace.

What a sad day it is...My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. He now rests peacefully in the arms of our Lord. May that bring comfort to those who are struggling with his loss.
Hugs & Blessings my dear friend,

This is beautiful, J.!  Yes, he was a man of the people...very charismatic and he changed the world and brought many people back to the church.  He will be missed!  Thanks for posting this! xox

Thanks for that nice tribute - he certainly had a good innings. He was indeed a fine man, who stood up for the traditional teachings of his church and his God - not the passing fads of liberalism many people have tried to introduce for their own convenience!

I`m not a catholic either but recognised John Paul as Holy Father to all of us.  True, he was a traditionalist, but a good caring, moral man also.  His support for Lech Walesa led to the fall of communism in Eastern Europe.  He will be greatly missed.   Sandra xxx
