Just to let you all know that this journal is closed until further notice. No, there is nothing wrong so, no need for you to worry. I have just decided to shut it for a while and think over whether I wish to continue it or not.

Well, yes you can because its your journal.I will miss your cheerful and interesting stories,it feels like a favourite magazine has gone out of print!Jeannettes Jottings was one of the first journals I came across and I was hooked from that day on.Thank you Jeannette for all hard work you put in to it and I would like to wish you and Mike all the very best with the new Grandchild.I hope its only temporary and will look out for you again.Take care !
Hi Jeanette, enjoy your time away, we will be here when you get back. I know how time consuming these journals can be, I've got very little time right now to write much or to read others I would never consider shutting down because of it but have had to come to terms with only being able to post what and when I can, even when it seems that I have nothing worthwhile to say. Jeannette, Take all the time you need, and hope you decide to continue. I took a break from my own journal, because with vacation and the weather. Some days a few minutes online, turns into hours...and nothing gets done here. Will miss you. Deborah

Sad news indeed, Jeannette. Certainly hope you decide to continue your journal - it's full of fascinating snippets and tales. I've just been reading your earlier entry on family history research. And what an excellent lesson in perseverence that is! You're so right in what you say about never giving up - and taking a sideways look at available data sometimes. Well done you! Hope to see you back in here soon.

Well, I hope you don't completely disappear from J Land. Please consider just taking a break and when you're ready just write every so often. I can't write everyday. Sometimes I'm too busy, sometimes I have nothing to say, sometime my mind is too full of weird stuff and I'm sure not going to put that out there. Anyway, just think about it. I miss you already!
