Shivery Sunday

Brrr about sums up the weather.  We did not actually get any snow here as predicted, but the winds are biting and it is very very cold.  Would have loved to have seen Nathan in the snow but there is still plenty of winter to go so perhaps we will get some yet.

On Friday I managed to get all the Christmas presents wrapped. First time I have ever done it in November but it is nice to get it all out of the way.

Today, Mike is out in the cold starting to put up the outside Christmas lights . We always like to have them lit by the 1st December.

Yesterday Becky and the boys came over.  Poor Nathan was not in his usual smiley mood at all.  He is cutting several teeth and was in real misery so we had a lot of tears from him.  He was also very over-tired from being up most of the previous night.  We gave Daniel a pre-Christmas present of a little snow suit.  Daniel is not yet smiling to order so no big grins from him to brighten your day.  He does look adorable in the little outfit though.

I still have to tackle the job of writing all the Christmas cards.  Which reminds me, quite a few of you are on my Christmas card list.  If you are not and would like to be, please send me an email with your full name and address so that I can include you.  I am talking about regular readers and friends here as you will understand.

We have a new piece of furniture coming early this week so we will be busy changing things around in our little home and then I can begin putting up the indoor decorations. So, I am going to be pretty busy.  There always seems to be so much to do at this time of year.

Hope that you are all having a good weekend and are keeping warm.

I love the white snow suit you got for Daniel. Tigger is my fav. cartoon character as you may have guessed from my e: mail address. Even although he is not smiling he still looks cute. Hope Nathan's teeth come through quickly and his pain goes away.Love Joyce xxx

Sorry it is so cold there..we have been through some cold too...but one guess..60's by tomorrow and part of the rest of this week coming up....so weird here.  Nathan looks soooooooo cute bundled up.  The teething is really something else...I used to have to keep wiping the drool off the face of all of mine in the cold weather so the face would not chap.  Happy decorating...hugs and love,

Joyce

The picture certainly says Burrrr.  It's so nice to see folks dress their children appropriately for the winter.  I probably overdressed my kids, you know overprotective mother that I was.  Love that little outfit and Daniel is just an adorable baby.  Wow, maybe one day I'll have my presents bought before the night before Christmas.  Your my idol, if I could only get my Christmas spirit going that soon.  Maybe, just maybe it has to do with getting your home and yard all decorated first.  That's it I'm going to find my decorations and see if I can get my hubby moving on it too.  Thanks for the little boot.

Oh Jeannette, he's so sweet.  Don't you just love those little soft cheeks?  And I love all the Winnie the Poo baby things.  Next year at this time he'll be running to and fro in the snow.  My cards are nearly done...all stamped but I have a few more letters to write.  I write one basic letter on my computer in WORD and then modify it for each person.  Makes it a little more personal that way.  I did put the silk poinsettias out in a big white bowl and pitcher I have in my living room.  Does that count as getting started on my decorating? Daniel looks so cute in his lovely little snow suit Jeannette,  I love the little ears on the hood.  He is growing so quickly now, the little sweetheart.  Poor Nathan, it must be so miserable for him, I don`t know if Becky has tried it but there is a product called Teethers that is supposed to be really good.  Kerry has bought some in anticipation as Roman has just started teething.

Well, smile or no smile, that a baby is absolutely adorable and so is the outfit! I remember going through the teething phase with my children, that poor baby.

How adorable that babe is !  The picture just makes you want to cuddle with Him!  Too soon they grow up and then they don't like to cuddle anymore. You are way ahead of me with the Christmas stuff.  I'm still working on the 'making' end of it.  I thought of you in church this morning and ask the dear Lord to send some blessings your way.  It looks like He did !  'On Ya' - ma

Poor little chap - although he looks adorable in his little suit, you can tell he's got a sore mouth! You just want to bear their pain for them don't you?

We have all our Christmas bought, but can't face wrapping them yet! Well done for getting them out of the way, you can relax into the festive period now!

Fingers crossed for snow, the boys will love it!!
