Rhapsody In Red

I am glad that some of you found my last entry interesting and could relate to it.  I shall finish the story about my junior school another time.  I have a very bad neck at the moment, it is painful to type, guess I have been spending too much time on here!

So today, more garden pictures.  It is looking so pretty  but we desperately need some rain!  The forecast is that it is going to get much warmer. Him indoors has had to go around with the hosepipe today whilst we can still use it as they are bound to be banned sooner rather than later after our record low rainfall:-

The above are, of course, Roses, Petunias and Geraniums.

We are particularly pleased with this final one of the Poppy.  It shows so clearly the stamens covered in pollen. Poppies are another of my favourite flowers:-

Until the next time........

The photos of your garden are great!  I never knew that a poppy looked like that.  Have been using moist heat and then ice on my back and neck.  It is working better than anything I have tried.  Hope you get feeling better!     God bless-Mark

Seems odd to wish someone in England a bout of rain, but I hope you get one soon!  ~~Kath~~

Just gorgeous, love!  The true reds in these flowers are awesome!  It is hard to get these colors!  Wow!  I hope your neck gets better very soon.  My neck and shoulders and back does the same thing when I am on the computer too long.  Do take care of yourself, hon. xox

You really do have some lovely things in your garden - what a wonderful splash of red! And yes - we certainly do need some rain! Forecast says rain tomorrow, in Southern England anyway. I'll believe it when I see it. A bad neck can be an awful curse sometimes. I had one for a long time once - but it went as soon I changed the pillow on my bed for a thinner/flatter one! Never had any problems since.

A red theme today Jeannette!  They are beautiful flowers, absolutely gorgeous. As for the hosepipe ban, it won`t be long will it?  We`ll go on using it until they say we can`t.   We badly need some heavy rain that lasted a good few days though. The ground is really parched.  I hope your neck isn`t too sore.  (((((hugs)))))

Dont worry folks, I'm going out back in nightie and souwester to do a few jigs. If he is watching from above, we will get torrents of the stuff; just to get rid of me. Keep laughing.

Those rain clouds must have gotten lost...they've been hanging out here for weeks now. We are all quite soggy.

Hello Jeannette,
Your red flowers are beautiful. The poppy is stunning. Thank you so much for sharing these.

We are finally getting rain, now. Wish I could send you some. Hope you sleep well, and your sore neck is better quickly.   ~Deborah

Hello again...I hope that your neck is better. I love the pictures of the flowers in your garden. It was a sweltering 92 degrees here in Georgia. Summer must have arrived a little early just by the feel of stepping outside. I am really liking your journal more and more...bye for now
