A Study In White

Yesterday we watched the trees whipping back and forwards in the high winds, watched the ever darkening clouds gather on the horizon and then the rain drench everything.  Certainly not a day for sitting outside enjoying the garden.  Today is overcast but at least the wind has dropped to a breeze.  Between the heavy showers, him indoors continued to work on the pond grids and a very good job he is making of them.  We did find time though to take more shots of plants in our garden.

So this is my study in white:-

I love the purity of the Arum Lilies, their simplicity.

This last one is the same bush as above but we spied a little visitor and could not resist this shot.

Hope that you enjoy these pictures and that you all have a good Sunday.

I just cannot get enough of seeing your beautiful garden.  The photos should be in magazines for the world to see.  Sorry about your weather..today here in Northern Virginia, the weather is sunny and will be in mid 80's.  Storms every evening they say!  Hope you can get out to your garden very soon for a very relaxing day.  Take care!  Joyce

It was windy yesterday wasn't it, my little tree was whipping about too.  J was worried about it, so I told him to hold it upright, he wanted to stay out there holding it all day!!  Lovely pics Jeannette, I love those simple lilies too :o)

The black background with the lily enhances the photo!  Thanks for you comment in my journal.  I can read others postings today, they would not show before.  Did you get my comment on having the Bible and other religious offered in the hospital?  I had written that it is a part of our heritage that is not being offered.
