I think we have all read/seen what is going on between Sir Paul McCartney and Heather.
It is not for me to make judgements or voice any opinion on the situation. However, I did see something that made me laugh last week. It was in one on the daily papers and I found myself humming the tune as I read the words so I decided to share it with you today.
To be sung to the tune of Eleanor Rigby:-
Ah, look at all that lovely money
Ah, look at all that lovely money.
Heather McCartney picks up a cheque every week from a bank in the Strand
Isn't life grand?
Look at her shopping, lunching with ladies in frocks costing ten thousand pounds.
Trebles all round.
All this lovely money, where did it all come from?
All this lovely money, where did it all come from?
Father McCartney, writing the words to the songs that we all love to hear
For at least forty years.
Millions of dollars, to a monoped model he married one day on a whim.
More fool him.
All this lovely money, that's where it all came from.
All this lovely money, that's where it all came from.
Ah, look at all those wealthy lawyers.
Ah, look at all those wealthy lawyers.
Heather McCartney married a Beatle and took him for all that he had.
Isn't it sad?
There go the royalties, over the counter at Prada and Christian Dior.
What was it for?
All that lovely money, where did it all go wrong?

A chilly, windy and gloomy day here today. The clocks go back this weekend so we have the long dark evenings to look forward to now. It is still much milder than it should be, many of the trees still have their leaves and we had had no frosts at all. All indications so far are for a mild winter.
The forest fires raging in America are terrible and my heart goes out to all the people who are affected. To think the fires were started deliberately and that four firemen have already lost their lives. I just cannot understand the mentality of some people. I hope it will be possible to catch those responsible.
Mike has now taken the dresser out of the kitchen and has the bottom cupboard built already. Today he will be continuing on the top part. We still have to buy the doors but he might wait until it is all constructed first. I am glad you all enjoyed our new look.
Whilst he is busy, I might curl up with a book. On the other hand, I have a couple of DVD's to watch. We were both up late last night/early hours of this morning, so I will probably fall asleep!

can i come watch dvd's with you...and fall asleep, i am worn out from half term lol. love Joanne
Good Morning ! Thanks for the smile today ! It's very wet and chilly here - good day to stay in. 'On Ya' - ma
Oh that made me laugh too. Those fires are awful, the person/persons that started them if found should be charged with murder
That was great Jeannette really enjoy singing that.Weather up here is bad today too. Love Joan.
Oh Jeannette, don't get me started on Ms Heather Mills.......she does not warrant being called Mills-McCartney, I am sorry but I have never liked her from when I first saw her at the side of the lovely Paul; I still believe he married her on rebound as he was still grieving (I think he still is) big time for the lovely Linda. The song words are good though.
very funny adaptation of eleanor rigby! daily mail I no longer read as they hate teachers and delight indoing down my profession whenever they can.
Sad about the raging fires in US.
Have a good read in the warm thanks for reminder about clocks. love conniex
I find it interesting that he was so good to Linda all thier years and never a complaint and he took such good care of her when she had cancer yet.......... this woman claims hes a beast)he heat her and did not consider her disability and was vulgar towards her breast. ) from the day the showed her with him I thought oh I dont think shes the one for him. Also strange right after the divorce she said we are the best of friends "WE" still love each other. Now its a total flip flop. Lawyers can do funny things to your stories. cant wait to see your new project
I actually think Heather Mills is ok.....I cant stand Paul McCartney though...dunno why that is!
Glad your kitchen is coming along ok :)
Happy saturday!
Love Amy x
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((JEANNETTE)))))))))))))))))))Happy Sat to you.I really dont pay attention to news,so,I dont know what happend with Paul andHeather. And I dont really listen to muisc, unless if I am in the truck with my boyfriend.I bet you will be glad you kitchen will all be done soon.Yup,the time clock is changing.lol.But it wont matter to me,because,I am offically on vaction.lol.Have a nice day today.
GREAT SONG, WISH YOU WERE SINGING IT ON THE CAM FOR US.......LOL DIANE
It is a sad situation with those two. You'd think at their age their emotions would be a little more stable. It sure seemd he'd found true love with Heather. Can't wait to see the pictures of kitchen all finished. Linda in WA
No one ever knows ... except the two involved. There's 2 sides to every story, altho one may not be truthful...LOL
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, Sugar
I make a point of NOT following celebs news. I get this impression that Heather Mills is trying to make a packet out of Paul McCartney, and has had this dreadful reputation from before her marriage to him. Nonetheless, I don't really want to know. Thanks for the info though, and the song. Sums it up, doesn't it.
Have a good weekend
I was very disappointed for him when they split. He'd loved Linda for so many years and was devastated when she died. They say that Paul and Linda NEVER spent a night apart.
I only can wish him the best.
Can't wait to see the final result of all of Mike's hard work. Enjoy your day, Jeannette.
Pam
whilst all over the news as per usual they say majority of people don't want the clocks to change i do wonder where all this majority they ask are from...Am looking forward to the mornings being lighter again for a change as it is so dark even when M leaves for school at 8.30 just now...Never liked the beatles but there's something about heather mills/macartney that just doesn't sit right Caff xxxx
I don't know what to make of their divorce and I think the papers may be making false claims about Paul to sell papers. I don't think Paul will want to enter into a marriage again after this. Our weather here in S. Illinois is sunshining today after days of rain. It is 54degreesF which is about 10 degrees cooler than average. I am finishing my laundry to hang up on the line outside. Hope you have a good weekend. mark
The Beaumont Oldies Station plays Eleanor Rigby all the time, so I got quite a kick out of this version. Shame what haste and lust(?) can do. - Barbara
what book are u reading and what dvds do u have to watch
Bet you are glad Mike got the dresser moved and is almost finished with the new cupboard. Such a smart man. Hugs, Helen
Jeanette,
I've plan on journalizing about the whole Heather Mills vs. Paul McCartney sage. I know from BBC America, some are saying Sir Paul may end up capitulating to her desires for a huge chunk of his wealth because of fear of fallout in the American market. Still the largest revenue generating market for all thins Sir Paul and the Beatles, not to mention he fears backlash for his daughter’s clothing line.
I for one think this woman (I'm trying hard to be nice) deserves a fair settlement based on perhaps revenues generated during their four your marriage but not half of his entire estate.
Warmest Regards,

I got a kick out of the McCartney song. Poor Paul. I've always been so crazy about him. I was sure if he had waited until I got out of high school to marry Linda he would have cast her out for me for sure! LOL I can't believe the things she is saying about him. I hope it's not true. My heart would break. Your graphics are beautiful today. I love those colors!
Hugs, Kathy
I feel sorry for the child caught up in this divorce - the lyrics say it all! Enjoy the extra hour!

How clever ,changing the words on that old favourite ,thanks for posting Jeannette, like you am now humming lol , yes the kitchen is lovely ,and yes the weather has favoured you on this job too its much easier to do these sort of jobs if the weather is fine ,.,.,enjoy your chill out day ,.,.,Jan xx
I'm not sure what to make of the Paul/Heather fiasco. The US doesn't publish nearly the "dirt" about it. Most filters in from the UK. I'm supposing he married on the rebound. Very appropriate lyrics they are.
We had high winds and ice storms yesterday which took the leaves from the tress, although the color wasn't very brilliant this year.
I'm reading backwards and noticed some pictures of your kitchen. Can't wait to see it. xx Chris
Re Paul McCartney and Heather, god knows what went on there. I feel he tried to replace Linda too quickly. He obviously just wanted a loving wife and a normal life again. I have read a few things about Heather which don't put her in a good light and then again read a few things about Paul too. I feel sorry for their little girl because when she grows up and reads all about it it will be very difficult for her.
Terry
Wow look at al your nominations! Congratulations and good luck! Shame about Paul. isn't it? I would have been much nicer to him!

have a good week Jeannette...
Re Paul McCartney and Heather Mills. . .well I dont know who to believe but think with all that money they should be able to split amicably. Both of them will never be able to spend what they have in a lifetime. I know she is no angel but I read that some tapes of Linda McCartney have been exposed and dont put Paul in a good light at all. . . .will it all come out and surprise us all? I loved the new songwords!!!
Funny lyrics. How strange that I still hang on every little thing that hits the news about any of the Beatles (the one that are left, anyway). What a grand part of my life they've been, good and bad.
Fred
Dear Jeannette
Those fires were set (premeditated) by a heartless killer who managed to kill four firemen Bless their Hearts!I feel bad about it!I also feel sad for Paul, Heather adn that little child! they say the child will suffer the most!
love,nat
Love the "new" Beatles song. Poor Paul!
