How tragic, that today of all days, Remembrance Sunday, when services were going on everywhere to commemorate the fallen, four more of our servicemen lost their lives in Iraq.
Four more families devasted, more people with their lives torn apart and changed forever.
Whatever troubles we might have, let us not forget, the fighting goes on. We must think of all those families who have relatives serving right now who never know if the next death will be one of their own.
God bless all the troops.

Jeanette... I so agree with you. It is all so tragic. One minute we are saying we will remember, next we are allowing our young men and women to go to war
When will it all end.
God Bless Them All

It is so very sad, I don't think war helps anything. Will the powers that be never learn? Bless all the families of those poor servicemen who died today. Jeannette xx

Yes...bless them all. There was a big bunch of US Army troops that landed here at Ft Lewis on Saturday. What a great day to come home, they were a medical detachment that had been over there for over a year. Linda in WA
Yes, God bless them ALL!

What awful news. I wish they would bring all the lads home. Terry x
Yes, indeed. Very sad. Brings home the fact that none of us knows the number of their days. - Barbara
God Bless them all and their families....

AMEN
I sickens me. What right do we have to cause this mayhem in another county. I know things there aren't ideal but who gave us the right to interfere and actually make things worse.
As for Tony Blair today laying a wreath, I couldn't help but feel what a hypocrite he is. How much blood does he have on his hands? I don't think he would be so complacent if his son was out there.

That is sad news, may God be with their families and with all the service people over there. Hugs, helen
It is so sad when any life is lost, I hope the families can find some comfort.

So true...Jae
It is so heartbreaking to hear of these brave boys loosing their lives. I will be praying for their families at this sorrowful time. The season of 'Peace' is soon to be upon us. Lord let their be peace on earth. I pray every day for our dear ones in the military and their commanders. 'On Ya' - ma
It is dreadful that we keep losing more lives in this war. I do pray peace cometh soon.
Lisa
Oh if there could be Peace among all nations and fighting never entered the equation of solving our differances. Is praying for peace enough? Isn't there something we can do within ourselves in our own lives that can begin to change the mindset of the mass consciousness. If we can't have peace between ourselves or with our immediate family members extendending on out from there how can we ever expect there to be Peace On Earth. In the end it will fall upon each of us to accept each other as we are and look within ourselves for the reasons why we react to others as we do. I love that song - Let There Be Peace on Earth and Let It Begin With Me - Let There Be Peace On Earth the Peace that was meant to be. With God as our Father family all are we, let me walk with my family in peace and harmony. Yea, that would do it wouldn't it.
I love that red poppy, it's beautiful.

With two nephews still on active service, one in afghanistan as we speak, whenever I hear news like this my world stops till we find out who they are,and then I breath a sigh of relief and send prayers to their families knowing that one day that may be us. Will this conflict ever end.
Hear Hear! When will this conflict be over?
