Canine Capers

Just a quick entry from me today as we are looking after Nathan.  I have popped on here whilst he has gone shopping with Grandy.

I am glad to say that Jack is much better.  He is hardly limping at all now so it must have been a pulled muscle.  It slowed him down for a couple of days but he is back to his normal self now.

You all know how I love Border Collies (well all animals in fact) and I came across this lovely video of a Border Collie performing a routine with his/her owner.  Had we had Collies much earlier in our lives we would have gone in for obedience or agility work as well.  I hope you enjoy the video as much I as I do:-

Anyway, the "men" will be back soon so I better get off here. Nathan and Daniel are dab hands at switching the computer on and off and playing with the keyboard so I usually shut down when they are here.

From a cold and very gloomy corner of the South East of England I will bid you adieu for now. Hope you liked the video.

I have been reading your journal for some time now and I do not think I have left a comment.  I have been one of those silent readers.  Thank you  for taking the time to stop by my journal and giving me words of wisdom.  I love your graphics and your love of animals.  Have a great day with Nathan!

Good Morning from the cold and gloomy USA - at least the part I live in is...and it's very foggy too!  I'd love to have your rice recipes.  One thing the cold weather does is increase my craving for something hot to eat.  Summertime I eat more cold things which are probably heathier for me than the hot ones.  Soup is usually very low cal and low fat though.  Have a great day with your grand'babe'!  Love and prayers , 'On Ya' - ma

Brilliant. 3 times I watched. 3 Times brilliant. I could SEE the intelligence ( and enjoyment )  shining out of that dog's every hair.

Smashing video Jeannette,  I am always amazed to see these clever dogs do these dance routines.  To watc it you would never know that the handler has full control at all times, they make it look so easy. I`m glad to hear that Jack is better now, these young dogs usually heal realy quickly don`t they? I hope Nathan had a great time shopping with his Grandy. :o)

Glad Jack is feeling better.  My friend, Sue, has got 5 border collies, one is brown and white.  They really keep them busy, I think they are all rescue dogs.  Luckily they live near the coast and they have lots of lovely walks they can take them on.  Hugs. Terry x

Oh, my gosh!  That video is just amazing.  I think the dog is smarter than his master.  I've never seen a performance that complicated before.  Super!
