Quiet Saturday

A couple of garden pictures for you.  I must be getting old because I simply cannot remember the names of either of them.  Normally I am good at plant identification.  So, if any of you know what they are - please let me know.

I was sad to be informed that one of our fellow journallers has suffered a brain haemorrhage.  Please send out your thoughts and prayers for Linny or, if you would like to leave a message for her and her family,  then please go to:-

~~ Life with Linny ~~

Thank you.

Going to be a very quiet Saturday. I shall flick onto the Live 8 concerts now and again but certainly will not watch the whole thing. We shall not see the family as they have a Birthday party and then a wedding reception to attend.    I shall probably curl up with a book.

Finally, I would like to wish all our American friends a very happy 4th July weekend.

Very nice photos Jeannette.  The first one has a greenish cast, but I see the yellow now that I turned my brightness up.  I keep it adjusted low because of eye strain.  Thank you for wishing us Americans a good Fourth.
Enjoy your relaxation,

First let me thank you for the good wishes for America for the fourth.
I don't know what kind of flowers those are but they are very pretty. The red ones have stalks like the carnation. Could it be the single version? My prayers go out to Linny and her family.
Hope you and your family have a great weekend. Helen

They're incredibly good pictures - wonderful splash of colour. But, sadly, I don't know what they are! Hope you had a nice quiet Saturday - and the book is a good one.

I'm not very good with the proper names of flowers Jeannette I tend to give them my own but the first looks like golden rod and the second a geranium grandiflora, they're lovely pictures and I'll send my best wishes to Linny.~xxR
