Tuesday Tidbits

Been looking after Nathan this morning. He has learned to clap now and is delighted he can make a sound, so we had plenty of that. Lots of teeth coming through and he can manage a couple of steps without hanging on to anything.  Amazing what progress babies make in the first twelve months or so.

I am not feeling too good today so the entry I was going to do will have to wait.  In the meantime here are a couple of amusing pictures which I know the girls will appreciate

The funny epitaphs seem popular so I promise to post some more soon.  In the meantime, if you know of any amusing ones, please send them to me via email and I will add them.  Had a couple of good ones added to comments so far.

Finally, have you ever wanted a slave to do whatever you ask?  Well, check out this site and type in your command.

Subservient Chicken

Hope you all have a good day.

Very pretty picture and I love the old posters too. Hope you soon get to feeling better. You need to feel your best when trying to keep up with Nathan. They can be a handful at that age. Bet he has that beautiful smile today. Helen

Hello Jeannette,
Before you know it..Nathan will be running around the house clapping. LOL!
Love the sayings!!! I always tell the girlfriends a bitch is a good thing...to me it stands for "Bitch In Total Control Here"!  Hope you are feeling better. Take care.

I was waiting for the graphic photo of the ocean to move...still so pretty even though it did not.  Nathan is at such a cute stage in the clapping area and the new teeth mean new and wonderful food choices too.  I hope you feel better and can post again what you really wanted to post.

Hi, I'm new to reading the journals but I found your's so full of variety. I'm tempted to start one but my life seems pretty mundane in comparison - perhaps when I become a Grandmother for the first time in January I may share my thoughts with you all. Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading more news, especially about the lovely Nathan. By the way, the blue lagoon pic is so beautiful-you can almost hear the waves!!!

Yeah on Nathan's first steps!
Hope you are feeling better.
Lovely graphic of the night ocean scene...
And got a chuckle from the amusing pictures!
I am always teasing the family of what I would put on their headstones because of sayings they say all the time.
For example husband is always saying "I was coming back", son always says "I don't know, I wasn't thinking"...

Jeanette. A rather old "new boy" to the world of the Internet, I am only now finding out about "blogs". I have discovered your web site ( if that is the correct term) today - it is wonderful in every respect. I shall do my best to visit every day.
Sincere thanks. Bob
